BEST PLACE TO LAUNCH YOUR PADDLE BOARD IN MIAMI

One of the best places to launch your paddle board in Miami has to be at Moringside Park. Tucked away in the residential neighborhood of Moringside but open to the public and is a hidden gem. Moringside park is centrally located off of NE 55th Tr. but in order to access the park, you have to enter through one of the residential gates. One is off of NE 50th Tr. and one is off of NE 5th Ave and 58th St. Once in the neighborhood, head towards 55th Tr. and then head East towards Biscayne Bay and you can't miss it. The large greenspace offers excellent views of Biscayne Bay has something for everyone. Tennis courts, a basketball court, a volleyball court, walking trails etc. It has a boat ramp for motorized boats that is open on the weekends but best of all, a very convenient floating dock that is designed for paddle crafts only. 

The floating dock is located right next to Morningside watersports where if you don't have your own paddle craft, you can rent SUP's and single and tandem kayaks for the day. The easy access to Legion Picnic Islands and Morningside Picnic Islands makes this launch site an ideal destination for anyone trying to enjoy a day on the water. You can hug the coastline and put your Paddle Bracket and Paddle Bucket to good use or head to the islands to do a beach cleanup. No matter where the day leads you, protect what you love and always, PADDLE WITH A PURPOSE.
