Be on alert! There was a sewage spill in the Miami Beach area of Biscayne Bay and a no contact with water advisory is in effect. The areas around Maurice Gibb Memorial Park and South to 14th St are a no go for swimming and all recreational paddling. The kayak/paddle launch at Maurice Gibb Park is closed until further notice. Please be careful even while in a motorboat or sailboat around this location because bacteria levels are high, any small amount of water may cause an infection or worse. At this time, the beaches are still safe for swimming and for recreational paddleboarding. Public works has been in action to get things cleaned up. Protect what you love and always,

PADDLE WITH A PURPOSE
